Tour Itinerary
Day 01: Nairobi Arrival: Start your magical and transformative Safari holiday today as you board your flight to Kenya, the heart of African Safari. On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our Silverbird Representative for briefing and be transferred to your city hotel for check-in. Depending on your arrival timings, you will then drive through the City Centre, and the lovely Karen area of Nairobi on your way to visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, which does an amazing job rescuing orphaned and injured elephants and rhinos from the wild, healing and repatriating them. They only welcome visitors from 11:30- 12:30 daily, so it will be a leisurely start to the day. After that, you will visit the Giraffe Education Centre where you will be introduced to the Rothschild giraffe, recently saved from extinction by this organization. You can even “kiss” one if you want! You’ve all seen pictures of that hotel where the giraffes run loose and pop their heads into bedroom windows? This is basically the backyard of that hotel, same giraffes, but this comes with an impressive
conservation program. We will then head to Kazuri Bead Factory, a tiny factory experimenting with hand-crafted ceramic beads. Overnight stay at Sarova Panafric Hotel (B)

At 5:00 am, you will depart with a Box breakfast from your lodge in Masai Mara and drive to the Kenya-Tanzania border at Isebania. You will be assisted by our drivers to clear customs and immigration and then be taken to the airstrip for your flight to Northern Serengeti where you will be received by Our Tanzania representatives. You will then be transferred to the lodge game viewing en route. The Serengeti is Tanzania’s most famous national park, home to dozens of species including antelope, hyenas, leopards, giraffes, lions, buffalo, and cheetahs. Serengeti National Park which is undoubtedly one of the most famous wildlife sanctuaries in the world is unequaled for its natural beauty and the greatest concentration of plains game anywhere. A large pride of lions laze in the long grasses; plentiful families of elephants feed on acacia bark and trumpet to each other across the plains, while giraffes, gazelles, monkeys, eland, and the whole range of African wildlife present themselves in awe-inspiring numbers. So strong is the ancient instinct to move that no drought, gorge, or crocodile infest river can hold them back. Conservation Area, where the drive descends into the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world. Here guests enjoy an afternoon game drive, with lunch boxes, and have the chance to see the ‘Big 5’ in one of the most unique settings in East Africa. You will then visit a Masai village in Ngorongoro Crater, this is a promising and wonderful experience, wearing their traditional red robes with elaborate beadwork and bells, the Maasai people are the most known of all nomadic tribes out there.
