3 DAYS – MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
The rolling grasslands of the Masai Mara offer ideal game viewing and photographic opportunities and the grassy plains are broken by rocky outcrops which are favorite midday resting places for lion. Some of the other animals which can be found include elephant, black rhino, buffalo, leopard, cheetah, wildebeest, zebra and gazelle.
This safari starts and ends in Nairobi. Clients fly into JKIA Airport or Wilson Airport in Nairobi depending on the international flight booked. Our safari driver guide meets the clients on arrival and the safari starts from there.
If clients will be staying overnight in Nairobi before starting the safari, we can arrange airport transfers and the Nairobi accommodation separately at an additional cost. Clients will then be picked up for the start of the safari the following morning from their hotel.
DAY 1: Nairobi-Masai Mara National Reserve
Depart Nairobi between 7.00- 08:30 hrs and drive south along the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Our driver guide will briefly stop for an opportunity to view and photograph this great spectacle. Thereafter: progress to the Masai Mara via Narok arriving on time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy your game viewing until late afternoon. The Mara is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago with over 450 species of bird. Explore the plains and rolling hills for a chance to spot the elephant, black-manned lion, leopard, buffalo, cheetah, and with diverse species of hoofed animals. Retire back to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.Dinner and overnight at the Mara Leisure Camp LDBB or Similar
DAY 2: Masai Mara National Reserve
Day spent game-viewing in the reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. With over 450 species of birds and animal species, explore the plains and rolling hills for a chance to spot the elephant, black-manned lion, leopard, buffalo, cheetah, and with diverse species of hoofed animals.
Dinner and overnight at the Mara Leisure Camp LDBB or Similar
Day 3: Masai Mara – Nairobi – Depart
After breakfast at the camp, check out and depart driving leisurely with game drive en route to Nairobi. Depending on your flight details, you will be transferred to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your outbound flight back home. Or spend the night in a Nairobi city hotel.
