This 4 days adventure in Uganda takes you through the misty Bwindi National Park for the Gorilla Trekking activity and later to Lake Bunyonyi which is said to be one of the most beautiful lakes in Uganda. Finally, you will travel to the Queen Elizabeth National Park for the Boat Cruise and Game Drives for an enthralling experience.
Day 1 - Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will be picked up around 7:00 am from Kampala (or Entebbe) by our Guide who will brief you about your tour. You will later be driven in a comfortable and secure touring vehicle to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the South-West which will take around 9 hours of drive. Lunch will be provided en-route at Mbarara. You will be reaching in the evening at the accommodation in Bwindi.
Day 2 - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Gorilla Trekking) to Lake Bunyonyi
You will have an early morning breakfast at 6:30 am and with packed lunch, you will move to the Park headquarters to join other trackers in a briefing about the gorilla trekking rules at 7:30 am. You will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the Gorillas, which can take you 1-8 hours. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access by tourists. You will stay with Gorillas sometimes once sited and later transferred to Lake Bunyonyi.
The drive will be in the beautiful part of the country often referred to as ‘the Switzerland of Africa’ because of its unique cool weather despite being near the Equator. This lake is said to be one of the most beautiful places in western Uganda. It is the second deepest lake in Africa (900 meters deep) and also one of the few places in the country where it is considered safe to swim as it is bilharzia free.
Note: Depending on your time of arrival at Lake Bunyonyi, you can pay the extra amount for the activity (Community Walk, Canoe Ride, Boat Ride, Bicycle Ride, Bird Watching and Cray Fishing...) directly at the accommodation and do the activity on this day or on the next day before departing to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Day 3 - Lake Bunyonyi to Queen Elizabeth National Park (Boat Cruise at Kazinga Channel)
Wake up early in the morning and have your breakfast around 6:30 am and set off for Queen Elizabeth through the volcanic formation of the western Rift Valley towards Queen Elizabeth N.P. The descent reveals a stunning panorama of lakes George and Edward amidst game-filled plains where you will reach in the afternoon check in to your Lodge have lunch and some rest for the sun to go down.
In the afternoon go on the unique Boat cruise that takes 2 hours on the Kazinga channel and onto L.Edward. The trip passes through possibly the highest hippo concentration in Africa and many mammals may be seen drinking water. The cruise offers an excellent platform for photography and game viewing. The birdlife is colorful and abundant.
Day 4 - Queen Elizabeth National Park (Game Drives) to Kampala
The final day of your adventure in Uganda will begin at 6:30 AM. Have a quick breakfast and head for a short game drive, and then continue driving towards Kampala (or Entebbe). On the way, you will have Lunch before reaching Kampala (or Entebbe).

Day 1 - Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park takes about 8.5 to 10 hours (473 to 510 km)
Day 2 - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to Lake Bunyonyi takes about 1.5 to 3 hours (65 to 100 km)
Day 3 - Lake Bunyonyi to Queen Elizabeth National Park (North) takes about 3 to 3.5 hours (248 km)
Day 4 - Queen Elizabeth National Park (North) to Kampala takes about 6.5 to 7 hours (389 km)
