An amazing wildlife experience that offers the chance to explore both the jungle and the bushveld on an exciting African adventure visiting two of Uganda’s most famous National Parks. This trip of a lifetime will see you making your way through the dense rain forest in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in search of the magnificent mountain gorillas and exploring the grasslands of Queen Elizabeth National Park hoping to discover Africa’s big cats. Enjoy mountain treks through the mist, early morning game drives, bush breakfasts and breathtaking sunsets. All amazing experiences that will only be upstaged by being able to observe the huge gorillas mere metres away in an extremely privileged encounter or witnessing the peculiar sight of the famous tree climbing lions resting in the branches above you.
Day 1: Hotel - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
A morning pick-up from your hotel after breakfast will be followed by a short safari briefing before making your way to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The trip takes you through local towns and communities shedding light on the rural lifestyle in Uganda. Stop for an en-route lunch at Igongo Cultural Center before continuing to the park, passing magnificent views of the rolling hills of Kigezi. Arrive in the afternoon.

Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Gorilla Trekking
After an early breakfast at the lodge, travel to the park’s headquarters to meet your guides for the day and a briefing. The experienced guides and trackers will accompany your party on the trek into the dense rain forest and up the mountain slopes. Trekking conditions and times vary depending on weather and where the gorillas are located. You will have an opportunity to sit with the gorillas for an hour, mere meters from these magnificent gentle giants. Observe their interactions and marvel at their size. This is an experience you won’t forget. After, return to your accommodation and if time allows, take a guided walk through one of the local communities.

Day 3: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Queen Elizabeth National Park
Depart in the morning for Queen Elizabeth National Park. This park rests in the Great Rift Valley and is home to a wide variety of wildlife including elephant, lion and hippo. Make your way to your eco-friendly lodge, set on the banks of the Ntungwe River. The lodge is an idyllic retreat, designed for people who truly enjoy being out in nature. Enjoy meals next to the river and evenings around the outdoor fireplace with refreshing drinks after exciting days of game viewing.

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park Full Day
Enjoy morning and evening games drives, with a magnificent sunrise and sunset. Enjoy a delicious bush breakfast that promises to be your wildest meal yet. Search for the famous tree climbing lions and all the other amazing wildlife on offer. Return to the camp to relax in the heat of the day and in the evening.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park - Entebbe/Kampala
After a luxurious breakfast, check out of the lodge and start the drive back. Enjoy one last game drive on your way out of the park before making your way to Entebbe/Kampala to your hotel. Stop for an en-route lunch at the Igongo Cultural Centre.
